Mieu Ba Hamlet (Can Gio Commune) competes for 100% of households to build works according to planning.

At the National Great Unity Day, the Front Working Committee of Mieu Ba hamlet (Can Gio commune) launched an emulation movement, in which the highlight was the commitment of 100% of households to build works according to planning, with permission, and not encroach on the roadside.

On the morning of November 12, the Front Working Committee of Mieu Ba Hamlet (Can Gio Commune) organized the National Great Unity Day in conjunction with the 4th "National Unity Day" in the residential area. Attending the event was comrade Ta Quoc Trung, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

At the festival, comrade Ta Quoc Trung expressed his excitement at the outstanding results of Mieu Ba hamlet, when 575 households joined hands to build a community with no more poor households, only 80 near-poor households; the rate of cultural families reached 99.65%. People's lives are increasingly prosperous and happy with many creative models being effectively maintained, becoming bright spots demonstrating the spirit of innovation, affection, and community cohesion.

Comrade Ta Quoc Trung suggested that the locality continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and self-management of the people, compete to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress and the movements "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind".

At the festival, the Mieu Ba Hamlet Front Committee also launched 9 emulation contents towards the goal of "Solidarity - Compassion - Self-Management Residential Area"; registering for waste collection, not littering on the streets and canals; 100% of households building works in accordance with planning and with permission; not encroaching on the sidewalk...

On the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Lon ward held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).

At the ceremony, 30 neighborhoods and organizations of the ward registered for emulation works in 2026, in conjunction with the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress, the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for the 2025-2030 term, as well as the Resolution of the Neighborhood Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term. Typical registered works include repairing houses for poor households, awarding Nguyen Huu Tho scholarships, organizing "Union Meals" and taking care of union members, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Solidarity - Compassion - Self-management" throughout the ward.
