It is forecasted that in the next 24-48 hours, the tropical depression will continue to move in a West-Southwest direction and go deeper into the Eastern East Sea.
At 1:00 a.m. on December 9, the center of the low pressure may be located at about 11.2 degrees North latitude; 117.5 degrees East longitude, about 350km East Southeast of Song Tu Tay Island. Wind force remains at level 6, gusting to level 8.
The dangerous area at sea is defined in the range from 10 to 13 degrees North latitude and East of 116.5 degrees East longitude. The natural disaster risk level is warned at level 3 for the East Sea area in the middle of the East Sea, including the Northeast of the Truong Sa archipelago.
From the morning of December 8, the wind in the eastern sea area of the central East Sea gradually increased to level 6, gusting to level 8; waves 2-4 m high, rough seas. Ships operating in this area should pay special attention to the risk of thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds and big waves.
