Deputy Minister, please tell us about the outstanding results of the 32nd APEC Summit Week recently held in Korea.

The APEC 2025 Summit Week was a great success, with the participation of leaders of 21 member economies, nearly 2,000 leaders of leading regional businesses, leaders of international organizations and guests. The APEC 2025 Leaders' Meeting adopted the Gyeongju Declaration "For a Sustainable Future", emphasizing the goal of moving towards an open, peaceful, resilient and dynamic Asia- Pacific region. The success of the APEC 2025 Summit Week carries many important messages for the world and the region.

The first is the message of continuing to maintain economic cooperation and connectivity, enhancing the resilience of economies. In the context of multilateral trade facing many challenges, increasing protectionism and isolationism, APEC leaders meeting and dialogue in a constructive spirit, proposing solutions to promote trade, investment, and enhance economic connectivity is very important. The conference affirmed the message of continuing to promote the role of multilateralism, the spirit of dialogue and cooperation for peace, stability and development. The meetings of leaders also contributed to strengthening the confidence of the business community and people in a future that overcomes differences, develops together for sustainability and common prosperity.

The second is the message of promoting cooperation in new areas for joint breakthrough development. This conference discussed current issues and new trends of strategic significance for the future of the world and the region. These are the strong advances in science and technology; issues of energy and sustainable energy transition; and challenges of demographic change. In particular, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) are the overarching discussion content of this year's conference, not only on the agenda of leaders but also in business conferences and public-private dialogues. This affirms APEC's pioneering role in orienting and leading changes in the digital age and creating a sustainable and inclusive future.

Third is the message about the importance of public-private cooperation, maximizing social resources to serve development goals and transform the growth model of member economies. The APEC 2025 High-Level Week continues to be a great festival for nearly 2,000 leaders of leading corporations and enterprises in the region, participating in a series of activities including broad and narrow dialogues with leaders, Business Summits and business networking sessions. Thereby, the business community not only shares visions and development strategies but also proposes many practical initiatives and recommendations on green transformation, digital transformation, human resource development and enhancing the resilience of the supply chain. The accompaniment and proactive contributions of the business sector have helped APEC become a dynamic, practical forum where ideas from the private sector are listened to and transformed into policies.

Could you please share the outstanding results of President Luong Cuong's working trip to attend the APEC 2025 Summit Week and bilateral work in Korea?

President Luong Cuong's working trip was a great success with many important marks, both on multilateral and bilateral levels.

Third, within the framework of his working trip to attend the APEC 2025 Summit Week, President Luong Cuong had a rich, effective and substantive bilateral working program with the host country, Korea, and many APEC member economies. President Luong Cuong held talks with the President of Korea, received local leaders of Korea, and met with the Vietnamese community in the Southeast region of Korea, contributing to deepening political trust and the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

President Luong Cuong also had many talks and meetings with leaders and heads of delegations of most APEC member economies to continuously strengthen the good relations and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and its partners, especially promoting economic, trade, investment, science and technology cooperation and new fields such as digital transformation, green transformation, artificial intelligence, etc.

This is an honor, a pride and also a great responsibility that we need to make every effort to fulfill well, thereby continuing to contribute to promoting the APEC cooperation process, and at the same time contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 59 on international integration in the new situation that our Party has set out.
