Arsenal continued to demonstrate their dominance in the Premier League title race by easily defeating Fulham. This victory not only improved the Gunners' goal difference but also put significant pressure on Manchester City. Arsenal fans are now brimming with confidence, given the possibility of Man City slipping up in their two rescheduled matches.
Mikel Arteta's team started proactively and quickly took the lead in the 9th minute. Bukayo Saka continued to demonstrate his influence with skillful dribbling before assisting Viktor Gyokeres for a close-range finish. After the goal, Arsenal maintained their dominance with a series of chances created. Although Bernd Leno made several impressive saves, he had to pick the ball out of the net for the second time in the 40th minute, when Saka himself scored with a cool shot with his preferred foot into the near corner.
Before the first half ended, Gyokeres completed his brace with a precise header, giving Arsenal a comfortable lead going into halftime.
