Therefore, the Premier League title this season is guaranteed for Arsenal, as Manchester City couldn't close the 4-point gap with the leaders in the final matchday.
Arsenal's season has been quite glorious: they are the first club in the world to compete in a national league for exactly 100 consecutive seasons. Winning the Premier League title again is, of course, the best way to celebrate this milestone. In a way, it could be argued that this historic season is also Arsenal's most successful ever. Never before has Arsenal won the national league title and reached the Champions League/European Cup final in the same season as they have.

Thanks to Bournemouth's excellent goal that thwarted Man City, Arsenal suddenly gained a number of advantages, in addition to securing the Premier League title. Arsenal's key players will get a rest and avoid the risk of injury in the final Premier League match. After finishing second for three consecutive seasons, manager Arteta continued to refine and perfect Arsenal's strengths and playing style, resulting in a unique and distinctive champion with characteristics rarely seen in top-level football. No other Premier League champion has had 35% of their goals scored from set pieces. Nor has any champion scored 18 goals from corner kicks. Should we say Arsenal exploit set pieces (including corners) exceptionally well, or are they overly reliant on them? Either way, this remains one of the three unique characteristics that have made Arsenal champions. Their other two standout features are a solid defensive system and the ability of substitute players to score or create goals. Arteta created this champion team, and it's a logical path, given that he doesn't have any big-name stars at his disposal.
