On June 23, Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to merge Phu Yen Newspaper with Phu Yen Radio and Television Station, forming a new unit called Phu Yen Newspaper. The Provincial Party Committee assigned Ms. Dao Pham Hoang Quyen, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Science and Technology, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper. Deputy Editors-in-Chief include Mr. Nguyen Khanh Minh, Mr. Pham Van Tri, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh and Ms. Pham Thi Minh Nguyet.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Yen Province Cao Thi Hoa An requested the Phu Yen Newspaper to quickly complete its organizational structure, develop operating regulations, and focus on implementing new tasks in accordance with its assigned functions and tasks. The Newspaper's leaders need to ensure solidarity, unity, and promote the capacity of each individual, while at the same time making the unit operate professionally and modernly, meeting the requirements of multi-platform communication.
