Three big companies in telecommunications, petroleum, and chemicals join hands for comprehensive cooperation

On February 10, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) for the period 2025-2030.

On February 10, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ) and Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) for the period 2025-2030.

According to the signed Strategic Cooperation Agreements, the parties have agreed to cooperate extensively in the following areas: prioritizing cross-use of each other's products and services; cooperating in distributing products and services on each party's system and network; cooperating to combine strengths and other cooperation, etc.

The cooperation between VNPT and Petrolimex will focus on three areas: Electronic payment services; Infrastructure and connection services and Digital service solutions. Specifically, VNPT will cooperate with Petrolimex to research and deploy the application of payment solutions using VNPT Money e-wallet when purchasing gasoline at Petrolimex gas stations. Petrolimex will continue to use the network connection infrastructure services that VNPT has established and is providing to Petrolimex.

The two sides will coordinate to review and develop plans to upgrade or replace technology to meet operational needs, ensuring optimization and efficiency. Petrolimex and VNPT agree to consider researching and proposing the selection and implementation of IT solutions and digital platforms based on the needs and strengths of both sides, in accordance with legal regulations.

Petrolimex General Director and VNPT General Director signed the cooperation agreement between the two Groups.

The cooperation between VNPT and Vinachem will focus on 3 areas: Application of Information Technology, Information Security and Cooperation in deploying products in the ecosystem of the two Parties. Accordingly, VNPT will accompany Vinachem in deploying new technology applications/platforms 4.0 (AI, Machine Learning ...), comprehensive solutions, ensuring comprehensive network security in Vinachem's production and business activities to help Vinachem realize its digital transformation goals on schedule and ensure optimal efficiency.

Along with that, VNPT and Vinachem will cooperate to optimize the efficiency of using products, services, and utilities in the ecosystems of both parties, coordinate research, and cooperate to create new products and services that promote the strengths of both parties to optimize efficiency and participate together in future projects.

Vinachem General Director and VNPT General Director signed the cooperation agreement between the two Groups.

Also at the ceremony, Petrolimex and Vinachem signed a cooperation agreement on enhancing cross-use of products and services of the two Groups; Promoting cooperation activities in distributing products and services on each party's system and network.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Directors emphasized: “This cooperation not only opens up new opportunities for the three corporations but also contributes positively to the development of the industry and the Vietnamese economy in the context of global integration. We are committed to working with Vinachem and VNPT to implement innovative initiatives, apply modern technology to develop advanced products and services, meeting the increasing needs of customers.”
