Three members won the bid for 3,400 taels of gold

There were 3 members who won the bid to buy 3,400 taels of SJC gold.

Specifically, according to the announcement of the results of the gold bar auction on May 8 by the State Bank of Vietnam , the total number of winning bidders was three; the total winning bid volume was 34 lots (3,400 taels of gold). The highest winning bid price was VND86,050,000/tael; the lowest winning bid price was VND86,050,000/tael.

Thus, the volume of gold won today is equal to the volume of gold won on April 23, bringing the total volume of gold won since the beginning of the bidding period to 6,800 taels of gold, out of a total of 16,800 taels of gold auctioned for sale.

Also according to the previous bidding announcement (May 7) of the State Bank, the minimum bidding volume for a member to be allowed to bid has been reduced to 7 lots (equivalent to 700 taels), instead of 14 lots as before. The maximum bidding volume remains unchanged, still 20 lots (equivalent to 2,000 taels).

Along with that, the reference price to calculate the deposit value of this bidding round increased sharply to 85.3 million VND/tael. This price is 2.4 million VND/tael higher than the 4th bidding session and 4.6 million VND/tael higher than the 1st bidding session.

In addition, other regulations on gold bidding remain unchanged. The total volume of gold bars expected to be bid is 16,800 taels of SJC gold bars. Participating units are required to deposit 10%. The bidding price step is 10,000 VND/tael, the bidding volume step is 1 lot (100 taels).
