(Dan Tri) - According to the forecast, on January 12-13, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa to Nghe An will experience severe cold, especially in the mountainous and midland areas of the North; the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai will experience cold weather.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said cold air has affected most provinces in the North and Central regions.
According to the forecast, on January 12-13, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa to Nghe An will experience severe cold, especially in the mountainous and midland areas of the North; and the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai will experience cold weather.
According to the Hydrometeorological Agency, the lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and Thanh Hoa to Nghe An is generally 9-12 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North 6-9 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas below 3 degrees Celsius; in the area of Ha Tinh to Quang Binh, it is generally 13-16 degrees Celsius; and in the area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, it is 15-18 degrees Celsius.
In Hanoi, the next two days will be very cold; the lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the capital will be commonly 9-12 degrees.
According to the hydro-meteorological agency, due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have scattered showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan: The North is cloudy with scattered showers and rain; the South is cloudy with scattered showers and rain, sunny during the day. Northeast wind level 3, coastal areas level 3-4, some places have gusts of level 6. The North is cold.
Lowest temperature in the North is 18-21 degrees Celsius, in the South is 21-24 degrees Celsius; highest temperature in the North is 22-25 degrees Celsius, in the South is 28-31 degrees Celsius.
Central Highlands: Cloudy, rain in some places at night, sunny during the day. Northeast wind level 2-3.
