On October 5, according to the Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department, by the end of September, the total state budget revenue in the province was estimated at more than VND 9,600 billion, reaching 88.8% of the ordinance estimate, reaching 73.1% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2023 and equal to 78.3% compared to the same period in 2022.
Of which, tax and fee revenue is over 6,233 billion VND; land use fees are over 3,367 billion VND.
Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department also said that some taxes, collection areas and units with large revenue still ensured good progress compared to the assigned estimate (reaching over 75%). Specifically, compared to the province's estimate, tax collection from foreign-invested enterprises reached 133.8%; local state-owned enterprises reached 90.9%; personal income tax reached 85.4%; fees and charges reached 92%; collection of land tax and water surface rent reached 78.5%.
The agency said it has directed units to continue coordinating with local authorities at all levels to promote the collection of land use fees, while directing and urging the collection of outstanding and arising debts of targets and regions in the third quarter of 2023, striving to increase the State budget revenue in 2023 to exceed the estimate.
Promote propaganda to all classes of people about tax policies and laws; implement new, amended and supplemented tax laws, and professional and technical guidance documents from superiors.
At the same time, the tax authority also strengthens inspection and examination at taxpayers' headquarters, focusing on inspections in coordination with the debt management department to monitor and urge taxpayers to pay the tax arrears, refunds, and penalties through inspections, examinations, and tax debts as declared.
