Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Director of Hien Phuoc Rice Noodle Production, Trading and Consumption Cooperative, Nam Duong Commune (Chu Town) said that in 2024, the Cooperative signed a contract to supply 20 tons of noodles/month with a business for export to Russia.
Noodle volume will increase to 40 tons/month from April 2025. Estimated revenue from noodle export to Russia is about 1 billion VND/month.
In order to ensure sufficient quantity of products within the agreed time with partners, the Cooperative has proactively imported quality raw materials; regularly inspected and maintained machinery and production lines; expanded the noodle drying area (all noodles of the Cooperative are dried, not exposed outdoors to ensure food hygiene and safety, meeting export standards).

In addition to existing markets such as the UK, Japan, Korea, Australia, etc., in 2025, Chu Trai Lam Noodle Production and Consumption Cooperative, Nam Duong Commune (Chu Town) will have a new market, Hong Kong (China).
This April, the Cooperative will export its first order of about 3 tons of noodles (traditional noodles, five-color noodles, brown rice noodles, brown rice vermicelli...), with estimated revenue of nearly 130 million VND.
It is known that in Chu town there are 15 noodle production and trading cooperatives, concentrated in Nam Duong commune. The units are always proactive in production and looking for new partners and markets. Each year, the cooperatives produce nearly 14 thousand tons of noodles of all kinds; creating jobs for hundreds of local workers with an income of about 10 million VND/person/month.
