Bac Ha: A lively evening of cultural performances to welcome the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse) and the first visitors of the year.

On the evening of February 16th (New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse 2026), the art program "Celebrating the Glorious Party - Celebrating the Year of the Horse" and the ceremony welcoming the first tourists to visit Bac Ha took place at the Night Market stage in a lively and festive atmosphere.

This is a particularly significant event within the series of activities celebrating major national holidays and in response to the Spring Festival "Gathering of Excellence - Aspiration for Greater Heights" in 2026.

The program brought together nearly 60 artisans, singers, actors, and performing arts groups from various folk clubs and schools, presenting nearly 20 outstanding performances to the audience. The performances were elaborately staged, imbued with the spirit of spring, praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and love for the homeland, interwoven with folk songs and dances reflecting the traditional cultural identity of the local ethnic groups.

The most emotional highlight of the evening was the welcoming ceremony and gift-giving to the first visitors to Bac Ha in the new year of the Horse 2026. This year, Bac Ha joyfully welcomed domestic tourist groups from Hanoi, as well as international tourists from the United Kingdom, India, France, and Hong Kong (China).

Local leaders presented flowers and gifts to welcome the first eight tourists to visit Bac Ha in the spring of the Year of the Horse 2026.
