Bac Kan issues movement goals 'All people unite to build a cultural life'

Accordingly, Bac Kan determined to continue to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the awareness and responsibility of the people in organizing and coordinating the implementation of specific tasks and solutions, suitable to actual conditions; thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" as well as the implementation of village covenants and conventions in the province, creating positive and profound changes in all areas of social life.

Implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", Bac Kan strives to have 88% or more households recognized as "Cultural families"; 86% or more villages and residential groups recognized as "Cultural villages and residential groups"; 92% or more agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards; 58% or more wards and towns achieving the title "Wards and towns meeting civilized urban standards"; 15% of communes, wards and towns achieving the title "Typical communes, wards and towns".

In family work, strive for 80% or more of households to be provided with information and knowledge about cultural behavior, skills in moraleducation , lifestyle, love and good cultural values of the nation; effectively implement policies, guidelines, laws on marriage and family, gender equality, prevention and control of domestic violence; 80% or more of young men and women before marriage are educated and counseled on marriage and family, knowledge and skills to build happy families, basic knowledge about family and prevention and control of domestic violence; 100% of communes, wards and towns develop plans to implement family work and prevent and control domestic violence; 25% or more of communes, wards and towns deploy the development of models on prevention and control of domestic violence...

Through the summary and assessment in 2023, Bac Kan has 1,214/1,292 residential areas achieving the title of "Cultural Residential Area", reaching 94.0%, nearly 91% of households achieving the title of "Cultural Family".
