Bac Kan increased 5 ranks in the DTI Digital Transformation Index

At the local level, the DTI 2023 score is the total score of 98 component indicators. The 9 main indicators are divided into a group of common foundation indicators and a group of activity indicators. The group of common foundation indicators includes 6 main indicators: Digital awareness, digital institutions, digital infrastructure, digital human resources, cyber security, and smart cities. The group of activity indicators includes 3 main indicators: Digital government activities, digital economic activities, and digital social activities.

According to the announced results, Bac Kan province ranked 58th in the DTI Index with 0.5964 points, of which, digital government ranked 58th with 0.6387 points, digital economy ranked 48th with 0.6994 points, digital society ranked 54th with 0.6325 points.

In recent years, Bac Kan province has strived to increase its digital transformation index by 1 to 2 places each year. From the bottom of the list in 2022, Bac Kan province rose 5 places in 2023, ranking 58th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. This result reflects the locality's efforts in the digital transformation process.

In the coming time, Bac Kan will continue to promote digital transformation towards bringing about substantial and sustainable results, prioritizing resources to achieve important targets in the National Programs and Strategies on developing digital government, digital economy and digital society./.
