Bac Ninh: Innovating trading sessions, flexibly connecting jobs

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1 has been affirming its role as a bridge between workers and businesses, especially in constantly innovating and improving the quality and efficiency of job transactions. Effective role of "bridge"

Identifying the organization of job fairs as the core and most important activity, the Center's leadership regularly researches and innovates the organization of the sessions in the direction of diversifying forms, expanding the area and participants. Mr. Tran Van Quang, Head of the Department of Job Introduction and Forecasting, said: In recent years, in addition to the regular sessions every Thursday, the center has allocated funds and human resources to organize many mobile recruitment fairs in communes, focusing on rural and mountainous areas. In addition, specialized sessions for workers who have returned from working abroad, people with disabilities, workers who have completed their sentences, etc. have also attracted a large number of workers to participate. In particular, integrating job introduction with career counseling and orientation, providing information on labor supply and demand for young people and high school graduates to choose suitable careers, easily find jobs after graduation, contributing to reducing the unemployment rate in the province.

To increase the connection efficiency, when businesses register to recruit people, the center will classify job positions according to requirements, salary, welfare policies, etc. Then, at job transaction sessions, the center specifically lists this information. From there, it helps employers and job seekers easily exchange, interview directly or online, and go to sign labor contracts.

Participating in recruitment at job fairs organized by Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1, Newwing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company (Van Trung Industrial Park) is always satisfied with the thoughtful organization. Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Head of the company's Human Resources Department, said: "Through the fair, we recruited many workers according to our needs, both in terms of quantity and qualifications, saving a lot of time and costs." As for the workers, at the fairs and recruitment days, they received timely job counseling and career orientation. Mr. Nguyen Van Huong (born in 1988), Luc Nam commune, recently passed the interview round and was recruited by an electronics company at a specialized session for workers in Korea whose contracts had expired and returned home under the EPS Program. He shared: "Through the center's website, I learned about this program so I came to apply because I thought meeting and expressing my wishes directly to the business would make it easier for me to choose a suitable job."

Expanding scope, ensuring workers' rights

Since the beginning of the year, the Center has organized 52 job fairs (including 40 regular sessions; 5 online sessions; 3 mobile sessions; 4 thematic sessions). In addition, it has organized 3 job fairs for ethnic minority and mountainous workers (in the old Son Dong district) and students, youth (in Hiep Hoa commune, Tam Tien commune and Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry). As a result, more than 300 businesses participated, attracting more than 25,000 workers to the sessions.

Every year, the staff of Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1 coordinates with organizations and localities in the province to conduct investigations and surveys to specifically grasp the number of people of working age and the number of workers needing jobs. Depending on the characteristics and strengths of the local labor force, they will connect and invite businesses with suitable recruitment needs to participate in transaction sessions and recruitment fairs. In addition, with the goal of expanding the scope and creating maximum convenience for employers and workers, the center also flexibly organizes job transaction sessions in both direct and online forms. In particular, priority is given to connecting with provinces with large labor reserves, promptly supplying human resources for businesses as well as creating favorable opportunities for workers to access the market.

In addition, the Center also provides many support services such as: Exploiting and providing transparent labor market information; free consultation on a variety of occupations, suitable for each target group; direct and online connection between businesses and workers; support for pick-up and drop-off for workers living far away. In particular, ensuring benefits according to commitments, avoiding risks from "virtual" recruitment or ambiguous contracts. Thereby helping workers feel secure in choosing jobs, improving the effectiveness of state management, helping the province's labor market develop in a stable, modern and sustainable direction.

The activities of the trading session and recruitment day of Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No. 1 have made a positive contribution to job creation in the province.
