Bac Ninh: Requires Seiki Vietnam Company to strictly comply with legal regulations on environmental protection

According to the decision, the project is deployed on an area of 5,000m2, with a production scale of 01 million products/year (equivalent to 1,500 tons/year). The main products are metal components such as electrical cabinets, game consoles, racks, pallets, control boxes, mesh panels, fence posts serving the electricity, energy, electronics and mechanical engineering industries.

The Provincial People's Committee requires enterprises to operate items only after completing the corresponding environmental protection works. All domestic wastewater must be treated to meet Dai Dong - Hoan Son Industrial Park standards before being connected to the centralized treatment system.

Notably, wastewater produced from the surface treatment stage must be collected and transported to a competent unit for treatment, and must absolutely not be discharged into the environment.

Regarding emissions, the factory has 4 main sources from the laser cutting and painting stages, with a total maximum flow of 30,536 m3/hour. The treated emissions must meet QCVN 19:2024/BTNMT, ensuring that the total dust concentration does not exceed 40 - 80 mg/Nm3. The enterprise is not required to install automatic emission monitoring, but must periodically monitor and regularly maintain the dust filter system and exhaust fans.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requires Seiki Vietnam Company to maintain noise and vibration within the allowable limits, according to QCVN 26:2025/BTNMT and QCVN 27:2025/BTNMT, not exceeding 70 dBA during the day and 60 dBA at night.
Enterprises must arrange production workshops separate from office areas, provide protective equipment, earplugs, earmuffs for workers and conduct regular health checks.

Regarding waste, the company generates about 150.6 tons/year of general industrial waste, 14 tons/year of domestic waste, and 60 kg/year of hazardous waste. The company must arrange a storage area of 5 square meters for hazardous waste and 10 square meters for industrial solid waste, ensuring a roof, waterproof floor, and warning labels; and periodically transfer it to a competent unit for treatment according to regulations.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province to organize the inspection of the implementation of the contents of the License.

Seiki Vietnam Mechanical Co., Ltd. is responsible for:

- License contents may only be carried out after the corresponding environmental protection works have been completed.

- Regularly operate waste treatment facilities in accordance with the process to ensure that the waste after treatment meets environmental technical standards, and take measures to minimize noise and vibration to meet environmental protection requirements; manage waste according to the law. Be responsible before the law when pollutants, noise, and vibration do not meet the requirements permitted in the Environmental License and must immediately stop discharging wastewater, exhaust gas, generating noise and vibration to implement remedial measures according to the law.

- Correctly and fully comply with environmental protection requirements in the Environmental License and legal regulations on environmental protection.

- Timely report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province if there are any incidents at waste treatment facilities or other incidents leading to environmental pollution.
