At Lao Cai High School, during flag salutes, extracurricular activities as well as History and Literature lessons, teachers not only impart knowledge but also skillfully incorporate stories about war, soldiers and national heroes. Through documentaries, valuable literary works and vivid historical documents, students are nurtured with pride, understanding and respect for the nation's glorious past.

The stories of the veterans helped Ngo Viet Anh - a student of class 12D1, feel more deeply the value of solidarity and the sense of responsibility to protect the Fatherland.
I feel very lucky to live in peacetime. From the lectures of teachers and the stories of veterans, I understand more deeply the sacrifices of our ancestors who devoted their youth to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland. The saying of President Ho Chi Minh : "Our people have the merit of building the country, we, your descendants, must have the merit of defending the country" is always in my mind, arousing pride in the nation.
Despite the difficult and deprived circumstances, the veterans still maintained their strong faith and fought for the peace of the Fatherland. This is also a valuable lesson for us in our studies. Despite difficulties, we need to persevere and overcome challenges to achieve our goals. Those stories have helped me understand the value of resilience and determination in life, and above all, love for the country and appreciation for what we have.
Not only does it educate students about resilience and patriotism, but the stories about the memories of veterans are also lessons about personality, life ideals and responsibility to the community.
Hoang Khanh Ly, a student of class 11D1, said: We learn from veterans the respect for the past, patriotism and national pride. Stories like these help me understand more deeply the value of peace and the life we enjoy today. History has helped us understand that we must be responsible in every day of our lives, which is the way for the younger generation to contribute to the cause of building and protecting the country.
In each lesson, teachers skillfully lead students into the stories of soldiers of the past, through emotional stories about the sacrifices, unspeakable hardships and sacred pride during the war years. Those stories have helped students grasp profound historical knowledge, feel the power of patriotism, the spirit of solidarity, and the indomitable struggle that previous generations have devoted and sacrificed. Such lessons help students better understand the responsibility to protect the Fatherland in today's era.

Teacher Trinh Thi Thao - History teacher at Lao Cai High School, shared: Integrating the memories of veterans into lessons helps students not only learn the lesson well but also understand history, thereby raising awareness of the value of independence and freedom; students understand more about solidarity and discipline, two important factors in today's life.
War memories are important lessons that help students form their personalities and ideals in life. We always focus on organizing extracurricular activities and exchanges with veterans so that students have the opportunity to directly interact with witnesses who have experienced difficult years, thereby cultivating in students gratitude and appreciation for the value of peace, independence and freedom.
The stories of veterans are historical lessons that continue to inspire the younger generation - those who are following the path their ancestors have taken, helping them nurture their ideals of a beautiful life, cultivate their personality and desire to contribute, clearly understand the value of independence, freedom and peace, and arouse patriotism.
