Bamboo Airways operates domestic and international flights to Phu Quoc from December 24

NDO - On the morning of December 24, flight number QH1521, departing from Ho Chi Minh City, landed at Phu Quoc International Airport at 8:55 a.m., marking Bamboo Airways' official resumption of flights to Phu Quoc before the new year 2025.

Accordingly, Bamboo Airways will regularly operate the Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc route with a frequency of 1 round trip/day, at 7:55 a.m. (Ho Chi Minh City-Phu Quoc) and 8:05 p.m. (Phu Quoc-Ho Chi Minh City), creating favorable conditions for tourists to plan their travel and vacation during the year-end holiday season.

Tickets for the Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc route have been widely sold by Bamboo Airways on all of the airline's official distribution channels since early December.

Also on the same day, Bamboo Airways officially launched international flights, connecting two major cities of Taiwan (China), Taipei and Kaohsiung, with Phu Quoc.

Accordingly, flight number QH9569, departing from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei) will land in Phu Quoc at 7:05 p.m. on December 24, 2024, starting a series of charter flights regularly operated by Bamboo Airways with a frequency of 5 round trips/week.

The very next day, December 25, Bamboo Airways continued to operate flights from Kaohsiung to Phu Quoc. According to the plan, the airline will also regularly operate this route with a frequency of 2 flights/week. Tickets for Taiwan-Phu Quoc charter flights operated by Bamboo Airways are officially distributed through the airline's partner, Crystal Bay Tourism Group (CBG).

Bamboo Airways representative said that with this return to Phu Quoc, Bamboo Airways strives to operate both domestic and international flights at the same time to contribute to attracting domestic and foreign tourists to this beautiful island. Thereby, joining hands to create momentum for Phu Quoc to continue to regain its position on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world .

According to the report, the number of Vietnamese tourists searching for Phu Quoc tourism during the Lunar New Year is growing by 180% compared to the same period last year, bringing this beautiful island to the 3rd position in the list of 10 favorite domestic destinations, just after Da Lat and Nha Trang.
