Bamboo Capital Group is in the Top 20 non-financial enterprises with the best annual reports.
Continuing the success and achievements, in 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), and Investment Newspaper continue to organize the 17th Enterprise Selection (VLCA 2024). After 17 evaluation periods, this year's listed enterprise selection continues to be divided into three main categories: Annual Report, Corporate Governance, and Sustainable Development Report along with a number of other categories.
After nearly 6 months of voting with more than 500 listed enterprises on both exchanges, the Voting Council has selected excellent enterprises in 3 categories of Annual Report, Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development Report, to officially honor.
For the Annual Report category, out of a total of 96 listed enterprises that met the eligibility requirements, the Judging Council selected the 30 most outstanding enterprises to be honored. The list includes 10 enterprises in the financial group and 20 enterprises in the non-financial group, in which Bamboo Capital Group was honored to be among the non-financial enterprises that won this prestigious award.
Being honored in the Annual Report category is a testament to Bamboo Capital's efforts in providing transparent and detailed information, presenting data in a scientific and intuitive manner, helping shareholders and investors grasp the financial situation, operations, strategies, and long-term plans of the group. BCG's annual report also integrates sustainable development activities, environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria, thereby demonstrating BCG's commitment to contributing to socio-economic development.
This award also affirms that BCG not only focuses on annual profits but also builds a long-term sustainable development strategy to ensure benefits for the business, shareholders and the community.
In addition to the Annual Report award, Bamboo Capital was also honored in the Corporate Governance category with the award for Best Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
In this award, only two enterprises out of more than 500 listed enterprises were honored. Over the years, BCG has deployed an online shareholder meeting model to facilitate shareholders from anywhere to participate without being limited by geographical location, ensuring that all shareholders can easily participate directly in the company's strategic decisions.
During the general meetings of shareholders, BCG's Board of Directors always devotes a large amount of time to the discussion, openly and in detail answering shareholders' questions, creating transparency and promoting a constructive spirit between the company's leadership and shareholders.
This year, to express gratitude to shareholders who have accompanied the Group, Bamboo Capital organized a program to give more than 500 valuable gifts to shareholders through an online lottery at the end of the congress. This activity demonstrates innovation in organization, contributing to making the congress more attractive and engaging, creating a connection between shareholders and the company.
Bamboo Capital is also one of two enterprises out of more than 500 listed companies honored in the category of Best Organization of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
After 13 years of establishment and development, Bamboo Capital is a large multi-industry corporation in Vietnam. Not only has it been honored with many important awards, Bamboo Capital also has a solid business foundation with impressive business results in recent times.
Financial report for 2023 - a year in which the economy recorded many unprecedented challenges, especially in the real estate and construction sectors - Bamboo Capital Group still recorded revenue of more than 4,000 billion VND, down only about 8% compared to the same period in 2022. This can be called a miracle decrease because the company has revenue from supporting sectors, showing the correctness of Bamboo Capital's focused multi-industry development strategy.
Entering 2024, BCG's consolidated net revenue reached VND 3,238.1 billion, up 14.3% over the same period in 2023. BCG's after-tax profit in the first 9 months of the year reached more than VND 748 billion, 4 times higher than the same period in 2023. With the above business results, at the end of the third quarter, BCG completed 54.7% of the revenue plan and 78.6% of the after-tax profit plan. With favorable macroeconomic factors and signs of recovery from the market, it is highly likely that the Group will complete its 2024 business goals and continue to develop sustainably.
Established in 2008, the annual report award, now the Vietnam Listed Company Awards (VLCA), has become a prestigious annual event, organized by HoSE and HNX in collaboration with Investment Newspaper. VLCA evaluates and honors enterprises that have made outstanding efforts in reporting and disclosing information, implementing regulations and good governance practices as well as good ESG practices in enterprises.
