The Hanoi City Party Executive Committee met to discuss personnel work.

The conference elected Mr. Do Anh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

On November 12, the second meeting of the Hanoi Party Executive Committee (18th term) held a meeting to discuss important issues on personnel work and programs and regulations that are directional and decisive for the entire term.

The conference was chaired by comrades: Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong; Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung.

Attending were representatives of Central Party Committees; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, City Party Committee members, heads of city agencies and units, Party secretaries of wards and communes...

Mr. Do Anh Tuan, born in 1971; hometown: Ninh Binh province; Kinh ethnicity; Political theory level: Advanced; Education level: Bachelor of Economics ; Civil and Industrial Construction Engineer.

Also at the conference, the City Party Executive Committee reviewed and approved many important policies such as the Investment Policy for the Project to build a road connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi capital under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, Build-Transfer (BT) contract type; decentralization of management of infrastructure, socio-economic fields; decentralization of revenue sources, expenditure tasks; decentralization and delegation of tasks to commune level...

In his closing speech at the conference, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that with a high sense of responsibility, after a day of urgent and active work, the second Conference of the City Party Committee Executive Committee completed all the contents of the proposed program and was a great success.

The conference agreed to introduce the City People's Council to complete key positions in the city's leadership after the Congress, including Chairman of the City People's Council, Chairman of the City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

With the motto that Hanoi does what it says, does it quickly, does it correctly, does it effectively, does it to the end, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested each member of the City Party Committee in charge of departments, branches, and sectors, heads of party committees at all levels, city and local authorities to uphold their sense of responsibility, compare assigned tasks, guide, inspect, make timely proposals, handle grassroots problems, not let meetings be delayed without effective action; focus highly on solving delayed and pending matters...
