Steering Committee 35 Party Committees of Central Party agencies deploy tasks for 2026

Comrades: Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of 35 Party Committees of Central Party agencies; Vu Duc Tu, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Education and Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of 35 Party Committees, chaired the Conference.

The report at the Conference stated: In 2025, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies have proactively and actively implemented the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. The Steering Committee of 35 Party Committees issued many important documents; established a Secretariat, Expert Group, Collaborator Group, ensuring systematic and orderly operations; built and implemented plans to propagate and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, especially during the time of Party Congresses at all levels and towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The work of grasping ideology and orienting public opinion has been enhanced; propaganda activities have many innovations, closely linking theory and practice. The fight against erroneous and distorted viewpoints has been vigorously carried out, with many articles having high theoretical and practical value.

The subordinate party committees focus on political and ideological education, strengthen oral propaganda, and spread positive information. Press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal, etc. play a core role on the ideological front. The fanpage "Party Committees of Central Party Agencies" is operated effectively, posting 70-85 news and articles per month; to date, there have been more than 400 articles, reaching tens of thousands of views, contributing to "greening information" on cyberspace.

Comrade Vu Duc Tu, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of 35 Party Committees presented a report at the Conference.

The 2025 essay writing contest to protect the Party's ideological foundation attracted 105 entries from 12/14 affiliated party committees; many of the entries were of good quality. The Organizing Committee awarded 19 prizes to outstanding collectives and individuals. The force participating in protecting the ideological foundation continued to be consolidated and improved, meeting the requirements in the new situation.

Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened by Party committees at all levels, focusing on the implementation of the Party Charter, resolutions and regulations; promptly detecting and handling signs of degradation, contributing to maintaining the purity and strength of the Party...

In addition to the achieved results, the Conference also pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations: the progress of establishing Steering Committee 35 and building information channels on the internet and social networks in some units is still slow; some party committees do not interact and respond to information in a timely manner; the skills of using information technology and social networks to fight against wrong views of a number of cadres and party members are still limited; the number of collaborators is still small, digital communication skills are not uniform; propaganda and fighting methods are still slow to innovate.

At the Conference, delegates exchanged and discussed to clarify the achieved results, pointed out the shortcomings and proposed solutions to make important contributions to the Party building work; creating a solid foundation to enter 2026 with high determination, great efforts, promoting the core role of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee 35 of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Steering Committee in 2025. She emphasized that in the coming time, Party committees at all levels and Steering Committee 35 need to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, and effectively implement assigned tasks.

He suggested that Steering Committee 35 continue to improve the organizational structure, especially in the context of the recent Party Congresses at all levels; focus on improving qualifications, providing in-depth training, and organizing training courses to improve the capacity of cadres working to protect the Party's ideological foundation. At the same time, it is necessary to increase the provision of complete and timely information, promote the effectiveness of the coordination mechanism between agencies and units in the process of implementing tasks. Strengthen the grasp of ideological situations and public opinion, proactively provide information, create "resistance" for cadres and Party members; promote mass mobilization work on cyberspace; increase information sharing between agencies and units to improve the effectiveness of education and public opinion orientation.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoang Van emphasized the need to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, considering this a key task, going ahead and paving the way; further promoting the role of expert groups and working groups, in order to create a combined strength in implementing tasks.

Along with that, the Steering Committee needs to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Central Committee's directives; increase the publication of official information, orient public opinion, and promptly refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints. At the same time, proactively grasp the ideological situation and social opinion, strengthen supervision of cadres and party members; closely coordinate with security and information technology agencies in handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace. The Steering Committee needs to well organize the 6th Political Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2026, create a widespread movement, spread the spirit of fighting to refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints throughout the Party.../.
