
Receiving and working with Steering Committee No. 6 were Comrade Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2026 Economic and Technical Survey of Hung Yen Province (Provincial Steering Committee); members of the Provincial Steering Committee and the Standing Working Group assisting the Provincial Steering Committee.
Immediately after receiving the directive from the Central Government, the province established the Provincial and Commune-level Steering Committees for the General Census, ensuring the correct composition and timeframe. The selection of personnel for the census was prioritized to ensure the correct structure, composition, and number. Throughout the province, over 1,400 people were selected to compile lists, 910 enumerators, 108 team leaders, and 80 grassroots supervisors; over 50 training courses were organized on professional skills, information collection, list compilation, and guidance on using the software for individual business establishments, cooperatives, and religious and belief establishments.
Through the review process, the entire province has 2,804 survey areas with more than 191,000 individual production and business establishments, cooperatives, and religious and belief establishments. Along with the rest of the country, on January 7th, the province held a ceremony to launch the 2026 general economic census. By January 12th, the province had completed the survey, collecting questionnaires from more than 8,500 individual production and business establishments and religious and belief establishments.
Members of the Provincial Steering Committee and representatives from departments, agencies, and localities have submitted recommendations to Steering Committee No. 6 regarding some difficulties and obstacles encountered during the process of collecting information for the general economic census.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee for the 2026 Economic Census of Hung Yen province, requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to closely coordinate with the Statistics sector according to the motto "Go to every alley, knock on every door, check every individual." This will ensure that the economic census is implemented on schedule, with quality and efficiency; that participating forces uphold a high sense of responsibility and follow the survey procedures correctly and completely; and that propaganda efforts be intensified, utilizing effective communication channels, especially social media, to ensure that people and economic establishments understand the purpose and significance of the economic census. Hung Yen province hopes that the Central Steering Committee for the Census and Economic Survey will continue to provide guidance on professional matters and at the same time find solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles faced by localities in the survey process…
Concluding the meeting, Ms. Le Thi Tuong Thu, Deputy Director of the Statistics Department, acknowledged and highly appreciated Hung Yen province's preparation and organization of the 2026 Economic Census. She emphasized that information from the census will serve as a scientific basis for policy planning, strategy development, and socio-economic development orientation for each province, city, and the entire country in the coming period. Therefore, Hung Yen province needs to continue promoting awareness of the purpose, significance, content, and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, businesses, and production and business establishments in participating in the Economic Census, contributing to building a truthful and objective data and information system; continue to closely follow the survey plan, strengthen inspection and supervision, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation of the Census so that the 2026 Economic Census is carried out according to the correct procedures and schedule, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
