| The working group conducted a survey at the concentrated resettlement area in Ban Ten hamlet, Van Lang commune. |
In Than Sa commune, the survey team conducted a field visit to the concentrated resettlement project for areas affected by natural disasters in Tan Kim hamlet. According to local reports, the project has a total investment of over 57 billion VND; at the time of the survey, approximately 76% of the work had been completed, and nearly 76% of the planned capital had been disbursed.
Construction progress is behind schedule due to the impact of heavy rain, hard geological conditions, prolonged land clearance work, and the effects of recent storms.
In Van Lang commune, the survey team inspected the concentrated resettlement project in Ban Ten and Lien Phuong hamlets. The concentrated resettlement area in Lien Phuong hamlet covers over 2 hectares, providing housing for 35 families. It has been completed, handed over for use, and the final settlement has been approved. The concentrated resettlement area in Ban Ten hamlet covers 1.45 hectares, providing housing for 34 households; currently, 18 households are building houses...
Through the survey, the working group assessed that investing in concentrated resettlement areas is of significant importance in stabilizing the population and contributing to ensuring the safety of people in areas at risk of landslides and natural disasters, especially in mountainous areas with difficult transportation.
The delegation requested that localities and relevant units continue to coordinate in resolving difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process; and at the same time, pay attention to completing essential infrastructure, ensuring that resettlement areas are effective and creating favorable conditions for people to quickly stabilize their lives and develop production.

During the survey program, the working group also assessed the implementation of Government Decree No. 66/2025/ND-CP dated March 12, 2025, on policies to support children in kindergartens, students, and trainees in ethnic minority and mountainous areas at ethnic boarding schools in the two communes.
In practice, local authorities have generally ensured that payments are made in accordance with regulations. However, difficulties have arisen during the implementation process, particularly with cashless payments due to the lack of bank accounts among many parents in ethnic minority areas; and the adjustment of geographical areas according to the new regulations has resulted in some students no longer being eligible for the policy, affecting student enrollment and boarding school operations.
Schools are requesting that relevant authorities consider appropriate support mechanisms during the transition period; and at the same time, provide specific guidance on facilities, personnel, and the roadmap for transforming the school model, in order to ensure stable learning and living conditions for students.
