Handing over Great Solidarity houses to poor households in Duc Trong

On December 2, the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross (CR) in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duc Trong Commune, VNPT - VINAPHONE Lam Dong Business Center, and Lien Nghia People's Credit Fund organized the inauguration ceremony and handed over the Great Unity house to a poor household in Duc Trong Commune.

Mr. Xuan Van Khao's family (village 30, Duc Trong commune) is a poor household with difficult housing conditions. The local government has considered supporting funding to build a house in 2025. After the construction period, the level 4 house including: living room, bedroom, kitchen area with an area of ​​48m2 with brick walls, corrugated iron roof, iron door, tiled floor has been completed and put into use.

The total cost of building the house is 200 million VND; of which the funding source from the Duc Trong Commune Fund for the Poor supports 70 million VND, the Lien Nghia Town Fund for the Poor (old) 30 million VND, Lien Nghia People's Credit Fund 50 million VND and VNPT - VINAPHONE Lam Dong Business Center through the Provincial Red Cross Association supports 50 million VND.

VNPT - VINAPHONE Lam Dong Business Center gives housewarming gifts

During the house inauguration and handover ceremony, VNPT - VINAPHONE Lam Dong Business Center also gave Mr. Khao's family a TV worth 8 million VND, along with some other gifts worth 5 million VND.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Association, the sponsor and the local government hoped that after moving into their new house, Mr. Khao's family would actively work and produce to soon escape poverty, contributing to the construction of new rural areas in the locality.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association, presented gifts to people affected by floods in Duc Trong commune.

On the same day, the Provincial Red Cross Association presented 345 gifts including necessities and personal items, worth more than 175 million VND, supported by the People of Quang Ninh Province, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, and Bitexco Group to families affected by recent floods in Duc Trong commune.

The gifts are intended to share and encourage local households to stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
