The Economic - Social Committee of the City People's Council surveyed the enrollment work for primary and secondary schools.

The survey team was led by Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hung - Head of the Economic - Social Committee of the City People's Council. Accompanying them was Ms. Ho Tuyet Huynh Mai - Vice Chairman of the City People's Council.

Reporting to the survey team, the principal of Nguyen Khuyen Primary School said that in the 2023-2024 school year, the school will enroll 116 students in 3 classes for grade 1. Of these, 99 students will be newly recruited, 15 students will be retained, and 2 students will be transferred from other places. The school mobilized 100% of school-age children to attend class. The school conducted the enrollment for grade 1 in accordance with regulations, creating convenience for students and their parents.

For Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the 2023-2024 school year enrolled 271 students in 6 classes for grade 6. The school has strictly implemented the enrollment plan to achieve the assigned target, in accordance with the process and procedures, and the list of admitted students has been publicly posted.

At the meeting, the delegation members discussed and contributed some opinions on in-line and out-line enrollment; when additional enrollment affects the quality of teaching and learning; and the establishment of an enrollment council with sufficient members as required.
