Information about police forces appearing at Mailisa beauty salons in Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang ... yesterday (November 13) received public attention.
Because this is an aesthetic brand with a long-standing system and a large customer base from North to South. In many promotional videos posted by Mailisa herself, the number of customers experiencing the products and services of this brand is very large.
Where do Mailisa cosmetics come from?
According to Tuoi Tre 's research, in addition to beauty-related business activities, another field that Mailisa is said to make a lot of money in is selling cosmetics.
Among them, the N3 Malisa set with 3 products (whitening, melasma treatment...) is quite famous and is sold for 2.3 million VND after being reduced from the original price of 2.55 million VND.
In addition, Mailisa also sells many types with other uses such as sunscreen, facial cleanser, skin regeneration gel... Prices are quite diverse, ranging from a few tens of thousands of Dong to a few hundred thousand Dong.
But in general, this product line is introduced as belonging to the Doctor Magic cosmetic brand, which was born in Hong Kong and is officially imported and exclusively distributed in Vietnam by Mailisa beauty salon.
Because the advertisement is quite general that the product is imported from abroad, Mailisa's cosmetics have been suspected many times of being "mixed cream".

When accessing Mailisa website this morning, the system said it was under maintenance.
In response, on her TikTok channel with 3 million followers and Facebook fanpage with 2.8 million followers, Ms. Phan Thi Mai - the owner of this brand - has repeatedly spoken out to clarify.
Accordingly, Ms. Mai affirmed that the cosmetics sold under the Doctor Magic brand are genuine imported products, have clear origin, and are tested by the Ministry of Health...
Ms. Mai also detailed: "To import Doctor Magic products to Vietnam, Mailisa must bring the product and product profile including: what are the ingredients, the quantity of ingredients, the ratio of ingredients for each type and then submit it to the authorities to verify whether the product is good or not, is it consistent with the ingredients in the profile?...".

Accordingly, Ms. Mai affirmed that in order for businesses to develop and survive long-term, they must do the right thing to be protected by the law.
However, in the context of the recent "exposure" of counterfeit and poor quality goods, many people still continuously comment that in addition to the voice of the business itself, there needs to be confirmation from the authorities so that users can feel more secure.
Who is behind the Mailisa system?
Mailisa has repeatedly run advertisements explaining why the product is of such good quality but the price is... cheap.
Accordingly, this company said that because it has a system of 17 spacious beauty salons nationwide, it is proactive in terms of facilities, does not have to spend money on renting premises or promoting its image, thereby significantly optimizing operating costs.
Mailisa also affirms to directly import products from international manufacturers, without intermediaries, maintaining medical standards and bringing safe and effective results.
Mailisa Trading and Service Company Limited is the unit that manages the Mailisa beauty salon system nationwide. The company was established in 2018, headquartered in Cau Giay District, Hanoi. The registered capital is 15 billion VND, Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh - Ms. Mai's husband - is the legal representative and owner.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Phan Thi Mai is the owner of a key enterprise in the ecosystem, Mai Li Sa Company Limited. This enterprise was established in 2007, located at 86 - 88 - 92 Huynh Van Banh, Ward 15, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to a report by Younet Media, Mailisa beauty salon is the top 1 most popular beauty brand on social networks in 2022 and 2023.
Citing a survey on the global health and beauty industry by the Global Wellness Institute, Younet Media said the world beauty market is worth 4,500 billion USD. In Vietnam, this unit believes that the beauty cosmetic market is a "piece of cake" that is still "lucrative".
