The Provincial People's Council Legal Committee reviewed the draft Resolution and reported.

This morning (June 27), the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review a number of draft Resolutions and reports in the legal field to be submitted to the 21st session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, scheduled to take place on July 9 - 10, 2024. Attending the meeting was comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Reviewing the draft Resolution regulating the level of expenditure for disseminating andeducating the law, standards for legal access and mediation in the province, the meeting participants requested the resolution drafting agency, the Department of Justice, to review and supplement to ensure the strictness and logic of the document format.

Colonel Nguyen Duy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, spoke at the meeting.

Some opinions also suggested considering the regulation of maximum expenditure levels according to Circular No. 56/2023 of the Ministry of Finance to ensure compliance with local budget conditions and capabilities, especially at the commune level.

Conducting the review of the draft Resolution approving the Project to promote decentralization for the People's Committees at district and commune levels and specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the meeting participants affirmed that this is a necessary issue, ensuring to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management at all levels and sectors. The principle of decentralization according to the responsibilities and powers of each level is prescribed by law, reducing the number of focal points and levels, promptly resolving and better serving the requirements of organizations, people and businesses.

The Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council also reviewed draft reports of the Provincial People's Committee on administrative reform; the fight against crime and law violations; traffic safety in the first 6 months of the year, and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

With these reports, the opinions of the meeting members suggested paying attention to the administrative reform indexes that have dropped in rank; solutions to prevent online fraud crimes; drug crimes...

Reports on: Anti-corruption; citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement; reports on work results in the first 6 months of the year, tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the Judicial sectors have also been reviewed.
