Formed by merging project management boards in the transportation and agriculture sectors, the Northern Transportation and Agriculture Construction Investment Project Management Board quickly stabilized its organization and streamlined its structure with 169 officials and employees. The assignment of responsibilities was clear and scientific ; administrative discipline was maintained from the very beginning of operation under the new model.
The Party Committee of the Northern Region Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture, with 112 Party members, continues to play a leading role, bringing Party branch activities into order and closely linking Party building work with the implementation of the unit's political tasks.
Throughout the year, political and ideological education was implemented comprehensively and regularly. The dissemination and implementation of resolutions and directives from the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee were concretized through practical content and tasks.

In the professional field, 2025 will truly be a major test as the Northern Region Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture is managing and operating 69 transportation and agricultural projects with a total planned capital of over 3,257 billion VND. The weather is complex, with prolonged heavy rains and numerous storms causing serious landslides.
In addition, obstacles arising from the implementation of the 2024 Land Law, along with the scarcity of construction materials, have directly impacted construction progress, land clearance, and investment disbursement.
In response to this situation, the Northern Region's Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture proactively took action with a decisive and flexible approach. Coordination with relevant departments, agencies, and localities was strengthened; many difficulties and obstacles were promptly resolved at the grassroots level. Land clearance work was accelerated, creating favorable conditions for the commencement of key projects.
The evaluation and selection of contractors were carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring openness, transparency, and efficiency. Specifically in 2025, the Northern Region Investment Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture Construction organized the selection of 93 bidding packages, thereby saving the state budget more than 11.5 billion VND through competitive bidding.
Quality management and project progress continue to be identified as overarching requirements. From investment preparation to construction, acceptance, and final settlement, all processes are strictly controlled. Unit leaders and specialized departments regularly monitor the construction site, promptly directing the handling of any arising situations.

As a result, by the end of 2025, no projects experienced quality issues; disbursement reached approximately 68% of the annual plan and is expected to be fully completed as committed by early 2026.
Alongside professional duties, administrative reform and digital transformation continue to be promoted. All documents are processed in a digital environment; project management software and cashless payment systems are effectively applied, contributing to increased transparency and work efficiency.
The work of receiving citizens and resolving petitions and complaints, especially those related to land clearance, has been carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations, preventing the emergence of hotspots.
Furthermore, patriotic emulation movements and mass organization activities continue to spread widely. Trade unions and youth organizations pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers; actively participate in social welfare activities, demonstrating responsibility to the community. These efforts have been recognized with many well-deserved awards.
In 2025, the Northern Region Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture was awarded a Commendation Flag by the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements and leading the patriotic emulation movement in Bac Kan province in 2024; and received a Certificate of Merit from the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee for its exemplary achievements during the peak emulation period to accelerate the progress of land clearance for the Cho Moi - Bac Kan road construction project.
Looking back at 2025, it can be affirmed that, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, the Northern Region Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture has successfully fulfilled its assigned responsibilities with a high sense of responsibility, systematic approach, and the unity of the entire team.
The achievements not only conclude a year full of milestones but also create an important foundation for the unit to enter 2026 with renewed vigor and determination, contributing to the realization of infrastructure and socio-economic development goals in Thai Nguyen province in the coming period.
