Attending the conference were comrade Lo Van Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Pham Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Pham Khac Quan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; and leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong acknowledged the achievements that the Muong Lay Town Party Committee has achieved since the beginning of the term. Notable among them are the leadership and direction of the implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 14th Town Party Congress; completion of the dossier on urban assessment and classification; the urban development program for the town, period 2023-2030; The project to adjust the administrative boundaries of Muong Lay Town and Muong Cha District to be submitted to competent authorities for approval.

Up to now, the town has basically achieved 20/20 main target groups; basically achieved and exceeded 50/52 component targets of the Resolution of the Town Party Congress. Average income reached over 38 million VND/person/year, reaching 120% of the resolution target.

Party building work has always been well implemented in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics. The political system has been consolidated and improved, and the quality of operations has been gradually improved.

In addition to the achievements, the Provincial Party Secretary said that: tourism and service development is still not commensurate with the potential strengths of the town. Since the beginning of the term, there are still 2 component indicators on average foreign visitors to the area and the ratio of hospital beds/10,000 people that are low compared to the Resolution of the Town Party Congress; there are no typical tourism products to attract domestic and foreign tourists; people's lives are still facing many difficulties,...

Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary requested: departments and branches to accompany the town's political system to implement, care for, and improve people's lives by all means, focusing on exploiting the strengths of tourism and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. At the same time, find solutions to make Muong Lay town a poetic, clean, beautiful town with delicious cuisine , closely linked to history; restore Muong Lay Thai stilt houses to attract tourists.

In order for Muong Lay to develop, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Town Party Committee to clearly define their roles, at the same time promote the intelligence of each individual, and build Muong Lay from the passion and aspirations of each person./.
