- Hanoi charges highest entrance fee to sightseeing and tourist attractions of 120,000 VND
The Hanoi People's Council has just approved a draft resolution amending regulations on fees for visiting scenic spots, historical sites, and cultural works in the city. The new resolution increases the fee for visiting scenic spots from 30,000 VND/visit/place to a new level. Accordingly, the fee for visiting the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is 70,000 VND/visit/guest; Ngoc Son Temple is 50,000 VND/visit/guest; Hoa Lo Prison is 50,000 VND/visit/guest; Thang Long Imperial Citadel Center is 100,000 VND/visit/guest; Huong Son scenic spot (Huong Pagoda): 120,000 VND/visit/guest (according to VOV).
- Hanoi increases land price adjustment coefficient
The land price adjustment coefficient in 2024 in 5 areas of Hanoi is adjusted to increase compared to 2023, with an average increase of nearly 17% in districts and about 22% in districts. For non- agricultural production and business land, the average increase in districts is about 4.17% and about 4.74% in districts. For commercial service land, the average increase in districts is about 3.56% and about 4.45% in districts. For agricultural land, forestry land, land with water surface for aquaculture for agricultural production, the land price adjustment coefficient K = 1.0 for the entire city (according to Tien Phong).
- Prime Minister directs to end lending to backyard businesses
The Prime Minister requested banks to stop lending to a number of businesses and projects in the ecosystem or backyard of the group. The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) is considering and will report to the Government on extending the implementation period of Circular 02 on restructuring debt repayment terms and maintaining debt groups. The SBV said that as of November 30, credit to the economy reached more than VND 13 million billion, up 9.15% compared to the end of 2022 (in the same period in 2022, it increased by 12.02%). - Realize the goal of developing LNG electricity according to Power Plan VIII
On December 7, Business Forum Magazine coordinated with relevant units to organize the Forum "Realizing the goal of developing LNG electricity according to the VIII Electricity Plan". The VIII Electricity Plan aims to convert 18 GW of coal power by 2030 to be replaced by 14 GW of LNG electricity and 12-15 GW of renewable energy sources. The world gold price today increased again. SJC gold reversed and decreased by 200,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to early this morning, still at over 74.1 million VND/tael.
Bank interest rates on December 7 recorded 3 more banks reducing deposit interest rates: MB, SCB and PGBank. However, besides reducing interest rates, PGBank also increased deposit interest rates for some terms.
