Realize your dream of settling down

Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses has become a widespread emulation movement, a bright spot in sustainable poverty reduction. With the efforts of local authorities and the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Nguyen province, creative and effective solutions have been proposed to further promote the tradition of mutual love and support of the nation.

After many efforts from all levels and sectors, including the practical contribution of eliminating temporary houses, by the end of 2023, Thai Nguyen province had reduced the number of poor households to more than 10,000, the poverty rate decreased to 3.02% of the total number of households.

To effectively implement the Central Government's policy, Thai Nguyen province has directed and implemented many solutions, including working sessions and surveys to people's homes and residential areas. From meetings to review housing conditions to use as a basis for consideration and proposal of subjects in need of support, Thai Nguyen province has resolutely implemented. (See details)

Many good models to support the poor

On June 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Chanh district said that recently, many effective models have been implemented to support people in difficult circumstances.

Notably, the model "Binh Chanh joins hands to help each other overcome difficulties" has been implemented since August 2021, with the method of "2 households with conditions take care of 1 household in difficulty". Thanks to that, all social resources have been mobilized to promote the spirit of mutual love and support. As a result, more than 32,000 households have been cared for with more than 9.4 billion VND in cash and necessities.

Up to now, the model has received a total amount of nearly 4 billion VND. All funds are transferred to the District Fund for the Poor to carry out the work of caring for people in the district, especially households in difficult circumstances. (See details)

Spreading a beautiful lifestyle through "Civilized Saturday"

Each citizen should start with the smallest actions such as not littering, sorting garbage; saving water; not encroaching on roadsides...

On June 29, the Steering Committee of the Project "Civil mobilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle in Binh Duong province" (Steering Committee of Project 02) - Binh Duong Province organized the Launching Ceremony of "Civilized Saturday" - for a civilized - green, clean, beautiful - affectionate Binh Duong".

“Civilized Saturday” is organized to propagate and mobilize the entire population to participate in specific activities on environmental protection; build a cultural and civilized lifestyle, contributing to changing awareness, forming habits, consciousness and actions of each person in communication and behavior towards the community.
