Thien Lam Pagoda Charity Board - Go Ken supports people of Lang Son province with more than 1 billion VND

After a week of campaigning, the Charity Delegation led by Venerable Thich Thien Nghia, Abbot of Thien Lam Pagoda - Go Ken, Vice President of the Provincial Association for the Support of the Disabled, the Poor and Protection of Children's Rights, came to Lang Son province to give gifts and encourage people to overcome difficulties.

The delegation visited and shared with people in the flood-affected areas of Van Nham, Thien Tan and Yen Binh communes. These are the three communes that suffered the most damage in the recent flood.

In the localities, the delegation and the authorities presented 800 gifts, each worth 1,200,000 VND (including necessities and 500,000 VND in cash). 6 households whose houses were swept away by the flood received an additional 10 million VND each. The total value of the gifts was more than 1 billion VND.
