The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department held a meeting on Science and Education work in the first quarter of 2025

On the morning of April 4, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the first quarter of Science and Education work and orient tasks for the second quarter of 2025. Mr. Le Huu Tho - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

In the first quarter, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue relevant plans in the field of science and education; issued Guidelines for science and education work in 2025, Guidelines for culture and arts work in 2025; guided, directed, and oriented propaganda boards at all levels, reporters, and press agencies to strengthen propaganda in the fields of science and education, culture, arts, and digital transformation. Departments and branches in the bloc have performed well many key tasks of the unit. In particular, the Health sector has proactively implemented measures to prevent and control measles, dengue fever, and hand, foot, and mouth disease; well organized the reception and treatment of patients, avoiding overload and delay in handling emergency cases. The Department of Education and Training focused on completing major projects such as: Khanh Hoa Province's Education Development Strategy to 2035, with a vision to 2045; Project to improve the quality of teachers and educational management staff for the period 2025 - 2030; at the same time, issue documents guiding the organization of junior high school graduation exams from the 2024-2025 school year and admission to grade 6 from the 2025-2026 school year; instructions on organizing admission to grade 10 of high school in the 2025-2026 school year... The Department of Science and Technology has advised and proposed the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to issue 17 documents implementing policies and guidelines on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; deploying software to measure and evaluate work efficiency (KPI) at departments and branches. Other areas such as: Environment; culture, arts, sports; labor, employment; population... are also of interest.

Mr. Le Huu Tho requested that units continue to effectively implement the directives and resolutions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees in the field of science and education; synchronously deploy KPI software, ensuring the assessment of work efficiency in conjunction with emulation, rewards and administrative reform. In addition, departments and branches urgently implement the 2025 breakthrough tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to units such as: Department of Health to study and advise on the development of conclusions, resolutions and projects to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for people in the province. The Department of Education and Training studies and develops, advises the Provincial Party Committee to promulgate the Education Development Strategy of Khanh Hoa province to 2035, with a vision to 2045, and the Project to improve the quality of teachers and educational managers for the period 2025 - 2030. The Department of Science and Technology studies and promulgates a detailed plan to implement each target and task of Resolution No. 48 dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism studies and advises the promulgation of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Strategy for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, and a plan to implement the strategy. The Department of Agriculture and Environment advises the promulgation of a Project to assess soil characteristics and land agrochemistry; Building a land database for sustainable production development of crops and livestock in Khanh Hoa province for the period 2026 - 2030...
