The Central Relief Campaign Committee has received donations of money and goods worth more than 1.27 trillion VND.

(Chinhphu.vn) - After 24:00 on January 31, 2026, the Central Relief Campaign Committee will stop accepting donations from agencies, organizations, and individuals.

Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Bui Thi Minh Hoai, expressed support for people affected by storms and floods.

On October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued an appeal for support for people affected by Typhoon No. 10; subsequently, in response to the continuous typhoons and floods, on November 21, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to issue an appeal for support for people in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands affected by floods.

Since launching the fundraising campaign, the entire Fatherland Front system has received over 3,900 billion VND; of which, 1,368,915 individuals and 17,125 organizations, units, and businesses have donated through bank accounts and directly at the receiving points of the Central Relief Campaign Committee.

The total amount of funds and in-kind donations received through the Central Relief Campaign Committee is 1,271.155 billion VND.

The Central Relief Campaign Committee has allocated funds in 10 installments, totaling over 833 billion VND, with the remaining amount to be distributed during the Lunar New Year in 2026.

Following the fundraising period, on January 15th, the Central Relief Campaign Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued a notice regarding the end of the fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms and floods.

The announcement stated that, based on Government Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021, on the mobilization, receipt, distribution, and use of voluntary contributions to support the overcoming of difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and incidents; and to support patients with serious illnesses; and based on the situation and results of damage remediation caused by storms and floods in localities, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced the conclusion of the fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms and floods on January 31, 2026.

After 24:00 on January 31, 2026, the Central Relief Campaign Committee will stop accepting donations from agencies, organizations, and individuals.
