The Central Committee for Flood and Storm Relief announces the suspension of accepting donations for those affected by the storms and floods.

The Central Committee for Relief Campaign - Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee has issued a notice regarding the deadline for the campaign to receive donations for people affected by storms and floods.

The announcement stated: Based on Government Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021, on the mobilization, receipt, distribution, and use of voluntary contributions to support the overcoming of difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, and incidents; and to support patients with serious illnesses; and based on the situation and results of overcoming damage caused by storms and floods in localities, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announces the conclusion of the campaign to receive donations to support people affected by storms and floods on January 31.

After 24:00 on January 31st, the Central Relief Campaign Committee stopped accepting donations from agencies, organizations, and individuals.

Previously, on October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued an appeal for support for people affected by Typhoon No. 10. Following this, in response to the successive typhoons and floods, on November 21, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to issue an appeal for support for people in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands affected by the floods.

Since launching the fundraising campaign, the entire Fatherland Front system has received over 3,900 billion VND; of which, 1,368,915 individuals and 17,125 organizations, units, and businesses have donated through bank accounts and directly at the receiving points of the Central Relief Campaign Committee. The amount of funds and in-kind donations received through the Central Relief Campaign Committee is 1,271.155 billion VND.

The Central Relief Campaign Committee has allocated funds in 10 installments totaling over 833 billion VND, with the remaining amount to be distributed during the Lunar New Year in 2026.
