Over the past year, despite numerous difficulties due to its unique natural characteristics, limited infrastructure, and low starting point, thanks to the close leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and the commune government, and the consensus of the people, Bang Thanh commune has achieved many positive results.
The entire commune achieved and exceeded 30 out of 32 set targets. The economy remained stable, agricultural production was maintained and gradually shifted towards a commodity-based approach. Many models of production forestry, livestock farming, and the development of advantageous crops were replicated, contributing to increased income for the people.
Some notable achievements include: The total area planted with grain crops reached over 1,397 hectares, nearly 97% of the target; grain production reached over 6,480 tons, achieving 102% of the plan; average per capita food production reached 483 kg/person/year; the area of forest planting in 2025 reached 230 hectares, 112% of the assigned plan; the percentage of roads from commune centers to village centers that have been paved reached over 85%; the disbursement rate of capital for basic construction investment reached over 80% of the plan; and the poverty rate decreased, achieving the set target.
Along with economic development, Bang Thanh commune continues to implement the new rural development program. The environmental landscape is gradually being improved, and many essential infrastructure projects serving the people's lives have been invested in, meeting the production and living requirements of the people.
The cultural and social sectors have seen positive changes: cultural and sports activities are maintained; healthcare and education are given attention, contributing to an improved quality of life.
Party building and strengthening the political system have been prioritized, creating a foundation for local development. The commune Party Committee focuses on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, innovating leadership methods to closely follow the grassroots level, and linking the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style with the implementation of political tasks and the exemplary responsibilities of cadres and Party members.

Entering 2026, Bang Thanh commune has set key objectives including: achieving a 71.8% share of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; striving for a 10% increase in local budget revenue; achieving an average income of 30 million VND/person/year; and ensuring food security with a minimum of 450 kg/person/year.
The commune is promoting the conversion of inefficient agricultural land to high-economic-value crops on a scale of at least 100 hectares, while also planting 100 hectares of new forest.
To achieve the above objectives, Bang Thanh continues to strengthen leadership and guidance; develop the economy in a sustainable direction, effectively exploiting the potential of land and forests; promote the transformation of crop and livestock structures; and encourage production linkages.
In addition, the locality focuses on administrative reform and digital transformation in management and operation, improving the quality of service to the people.
Building on the tradition of unity and the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the Party Committee, government, and people of Bang Thanh commune are determined to realize the set goals, build a more developed homeland, and gradually improve the lives of the people.
