According to the latest Korean women's volleyball league rankings, Bich Thuy's GS Caltex Seoul Kixx club is certain to not be at the bottom of the table when the season ends.
The team still has one final match on March 20, but the team below them, Pepper Savings Bank, lost 1-3 to Hyundai E&C in the final match of the season and has no chance of gaining more points.
Ranked 5th is Expressway with 44 points. Ranked 4th is IBK with 47 points. The top 3 positions belong to Hungkuk (81 points), Hyundai E&C (66 points) and Daejeon Red Sparks (63 points).
According to the rules of the Korean Women's Volleyball League, the top team after the round-robin stage will go straight to the championship final. The second, third, and fourth-place teams will theoretically play additional play-offs to determine the remaining team in the final. However, the fourth-place team will only have a chance to play in the play-offs if it maintains a gap of less than three points over the team above it at the end of the season.
After the round-robin stage ends, the tournament will enter a play-off series to find the champion in early April 2025.
