U23 Timor-Leste just created a shock when they held U23 Myanmar to a 4-4 draw on the opening day. This result helped them share the lead with their opponents after the first round of matches. However, U23 Thailand is still considered to be completely superior and will likely win the top spot in the group.
The 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship will take place from July 15 to 29 in Indonesia, with the participation of 10 teams, divided into 3 groups. The teams will compete in a round robin to calculate points, selecting the 3 group winners and 1 second-place team with the best results to enter the semi-finals.
