Activities within the framework of the State visit of General Secretary andPresident To Lam and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation have received special attention and become the focus of the Chinese press in recent days.

In particular, right after the high-level talks between General Secretary and President To Lam and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, the state media Chinese newspapers such as People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television (CCTV), China Daily, Communist Party of China Online Newspaper, Chinese Government Online Newspaper... all solemnly published in the most prominent positions news, articles, and images of the official welcoming ceremony, high-level talks, signing ceremony of cooperation documents, tea party and reception within the framework of the visit.
The websites of the People's Daily and Xinhua News Agency published the news of the talks between the two leaders with the prominent content: "Grasp the direction of building the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future, firmly consolidate the "6 more" development situation: higher political trust; more substantive defense-security cooperation; deeper substantive cooperation; more solid social foundation; closer multilateral coordination; better control and resolution of disagreements".

Accordingly, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping affirmed the significance of the visit as well as the strategic height of the China-Vietnam relationship, expressing his willingness to work with General Secretary and President To Lam to build a working relationship and personal friendship, and jointly lead the building of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future in depth and practically; emphasizing that in the context of global fluctuations, the two countries maintain long-term economic growth and social stability, demonstrating the superiority and vitality of the socialist regime and cause. The Chinese side considers Vietnam a priority in its neighborly diplomacy, supports the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the socialist path suitable to the country's situation, and deepens innovation, integration and socialist modernization.
The article said that after the talks, the two sides witnessed the signing of many bilateral cooperation documents on Party schools, infrastructure connectivity, industry, finance, customs inspection and quarantine, health, press and media, local cooperation, people's livelihood and other fields. In particular, the two top leaders of the two Parties and two countries attended a tea party and continued to discuss in depth important issues of mutual concern in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The website of China Daily quoted the two leaders' comments on the special significance of this visit. Accordingly, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping said that the first leg of the visit to Guangdong province was very meaningful, because exactly 100 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh came to Guangzhou to carry out revolutionary activities, his footprints spread across many localities in China, and finally led Vietnam to victory in the August Revolution and independence for the nation.
Those heroic years have become an indelible "red memory" in the history of exchanges between the two Parties of China and Vietnam. The shared ideals and beliefs have become "red seeds" passed down from generation to generation in the two Parties, forming the traditional friendship of "the close Vietnam-China love, both comrades and brothers".
For his part, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that this was his first visit after being elected General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, demonstrating that the Party and State of Vietnam consistently attach importance to relations with China, considering it a strategic choice and top priority in foreign policy; affirming that they are ready, together with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and the leaders of the Party and State of China, to continuously cultivate the tradition of friendship, deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
