Following the direction and guidance from superiors and implementing the motto "Proactive scenario - flexible operation - stable system", from the beginning of 2025 until now, PC Quang Binh has built a plan to provide adequate, reliable and safe electricity to customers, effectively serving production and daily life in the area.

Right from the beginning of the year, PC Quang Binh has completed and announced the annual, monthly and weekly power grid operation plan according to regulations. The unit has also proactively developed more detailed plans to respond to extreme situations, such as: Power shortage, supply-demand imbalance; plans to ensure power supply during peak periods such as holidays, Tet, major political and cultural events... In addition, the unit has also paid attention to ensuring power supply for important power users according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee to effectively implement.

PC Quang Binh proactively renovates and upgrades the power grid.

PC Quang Binh has thoroughly informed all units, departments, officers and employees about the importance of ensuring electricity for important political events such as the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), International Labor Day (May 1)... On that basis, the affiliated power companies have proactively developed plans and implemented the work of ensuring uninterrupted and safe electricity supply for important events, venues for organizing political, cultural and artistic activities during the holidays, such as: Dong Hoi Culture-Tourism Week; special art program on the evening of May 1 at Bao Ninh Sea Square, broadcast live on QBTV; "Brilliant colors of the Heritage area" activity.

In particular, PC Quang Binh has directed its affiliated units to absolutely not be subjective, not to make mistakes in the process of implementing power supply assurance; actively coordinate with local authorities at all levels to increase patrols, protection to ensure safety and security of power grid corridors and power projects; arrange for backup generators of 250kVA, 40kVA in Dong Hoi City and 5kVA (or 10kVA) at power companies to mobilize support when requested by the locality; organize forces to be on duty and report on the operation situation, incidents that require stopping, reducing power supply, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

Actively provide adequate and safe electricity

Forecasting that in the coming months there will be more prolonged heat waves and increased electricity demand, PC Quang Binh has synchronously deployed technical, management and operational solutions to ensure safe and continuous electricity supply, effectively serving production, business and people's lives throughout the province.

According to PC Quang Binh's forecast, the maximum load of Quang Binh province's power system in 2025 is estimated to reach 277 MW, an increase of 13% compared to 2024 at 243 MW; the maximum daily output will reach 5.1 million kWh, an increase of 8.5% compared to 2024 at 4.7 million kWh.

Since the beginning of 2025, the company has regularly reviewed and calculated the basic grid connection at each time to operate the power system safely and flexibly, ensuring power quality and economic and technical standards. At the same time, the company has also proposed installing and converting switching devices to improve transmission capacity and reduce power supply interruption time in case of incidents. In order to improve reliability, accelerate investment and renovate the power grid, PC Quang Binh also focuses on promoting the power grid repair program based on equipment status (CBM-Condition Based Maintenance), strengthen equipment inspection and assessment, prepare adequate spare materials to handle incidents; regularly monitor and supervise distribution transformer stations and power lines at risk of being fully loaded, especially during the peak dry season of 2025 to have solutions to increase capacity and timely load sharing. The unit also organizes cleaning and maintenance of power lines and transformer stations, monitors contact status, especially medium voltage lines with high load levels; periodically checks equipment, ensures normal working condition, and prevents unusual incidents caused by equipment causing power supply interruptions. In particular, the company continues to improve and effectively operate automation systems such as DAS/FLISR, increases the frequency of cleaning Hotline lines, and applies hot electrical repairs to minimize power outage time.
