Ensure normal traffic during Prenn Pass repairs

This is the request of comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province during the inspection of repair and remediation work at Prenn Pass on the morning of November 26.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi inspected the repair and remediation work of the landslide at Prenn Pass.

At the inspection, a representative of Deo Ca Construction Company said that as soon as receiving the investor's request, the unit mobilized human resources and equipment to approach the scene, organized to ensure traffic safety, pile driving and reinforced the slope to clear the route and maintain safe traffic.

The unit also coordinated with the Traffic Department to invite experts to assess the current situation and agree on technical plans to implement the next items with the goal of ensuring progress and quality.

At the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Construction Company, informed that the landslide locations are being considered for a thorough treatment plan. The company will coordinate with relevant units to complete the repair items before January 30, 2026 according to the schedule required by the province and the investor.

Inspecting the scene, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the proactiveness of the forces; at the same time, requested the construction unit and professional agencies to put quality first, not to let time pressure affect the long-term safety of the pass.

Comrade Ho Van Muoi also directed the maintenance of the sign system and the arrangement of traffic control forces at repair locations.

Prenn Pass is a vital traffic route connecting the administrative center in Da Lat with other areas of the province. Therefore, the construction unit must coordinate with the functional departments to arrange forces, ensuring the normal traffic of people during the time of repair and troubleshooting on the pass.

Previously, due to prolonged heavy rain, on November 17, a serious landslide occurred at Km224+600 to Km224+700 on Prenn Pass. To ensure safety, Lam Dong province banned vehicles from passing through the landslide section on Prenn Pass.

After that, the functional departments and construction units worked day and night to fix the problem. By 1:00 p.m. on November 25, the entire Prenn Pass was cleared. Vehicles were allowed to travel in both directions.

The construction unit is mobilizing forces and vehicles to fix the problem on Prenn Pass on schedule.

Currently, vehicles are still circulating normally on Prenn Pass in both directions.

According to records, on November 26, vehicles were circulating normally on Prenn Pass. Authorities were still deployed to control traffic and support construction work.
