Tonight (November 14), at Au Co Theater (Hanoi), the National Press Award ceremony "For the cause of Vietnamese education " 2025 took place.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said: The National Press Awards Ceremony "For the Cause of Vietnam's Education" in 2025 is an annual activity of profound significance, affirming the accompanying role of the press in policy communication activities, spreading the good values of the education sector in the period of innovation, facing great opportunities and expectations of the country.
This is not only a gathering place for journalists who love, understand and are passionate about the education sector, but also a living proof of the press's companionship, supervision and creation in the development of education and training that the sector is deploying and implementing.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Final Round Council - assessed that 2025 continued to be a successful season, demonstrating the deep interest of the press in the education sector.
According to the organizers, this year the award attracted more than 800 entries in four types of journalism: print, electronic, radio and television.
According to the Jury, the quality of this year’s entries is quite good, reflecting clearly the life of education and closely following current issues in the education sector. Many entries left a deep impression, with careful investment in both content and form.
Not only central press agencies but also many local press agencies, from mountainous and island areas to remote areas, sent entries to the contest.
From 82 finalists, the Final Jury of the National Press Award "For the Cause of Vietnam's Education" 2025 selected the best works to award 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 36 consolation prizes and 2 outstanding characters in 2 winning works.

Among them, the series of articles "Exposing and destroying distorted arguments about tuition exemption policy" consisting of 4 parts by the group of authors Tran Van Hinh, Hoang Thi Hong, Nguyen Thi Huyen of Dan Tri newspaper won the encouragement prize.
In the context of the tuition-free policy being vigorously implemented by the Party and the State, hostile forces have increased their activities to deny and distort this policy. The group of authors has produced a series of articles to promptly refute false information and affirm the humanistic values and strategic goals of the policy.
The content clearly shows: The policy of free tuition from kindergarten to high school is a consistent commitment of the Party and State to the cause of education; demonstrates the humanity, equality and superiority of the regime; aims at the goal of not leaving any student behind.
