Accordingly, members of the Thien Y Group together cooked 550 portions of rice (with 1 box of milk/portion) and organized free rice distribution for poor patients being treated at the hospital. The cost of cooking rice for poor patients and people in difficulty was about 15 million VND.
On this occasion, benefactors also donated many necessities and supplies worth more than 15 million VND to Lam Dong II Hospital Charity Kitchen.
The charity kitchen of Lam Dong II Hospital has been jointly managed and operated by the Bao Loc City Red Cross and the Hospital for nearly 2 years. During its operation, the kitchen has always received attention, companionship, financial support, and material support from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to help patients in difficult circumstances. Thereby, providing more motivation for patients to feel secure during treatment.
