Speaking at the program, Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Ly Viet Trung said that when the circumstances of the female students were shared on Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper and the newspaper's social media channels, many readers sent messages saying they wanted to join hands with the newspaper to take care of the students. Every time they received a message confirming sponsorship from benefactors, the program's staff was moved to tears, imagining the radiant faces of the female students and feeling warm in their hearts.
Journalist Ly Viet Trung shared: “The scholarships that you receive today are gifts that the city’s people have saved from their hard work for you. Therefore, you should try to study better to not let down your uncles and aunts, so that in the future you can take care of yourself, your family and have the conditions to contribute to the country. With the scholarship program for studious female students overcoming difficulties of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Newspaper, we hope that you will no longer be alone on the future path ahead.”
