Storm No. 14 changes direction (previously moving to the North-Northeast), weakening in intensity. The North is experiencing weak cold air strengthening. From November 13-15 in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, the night and early morning will be cold, with some places in the high mountains experiencing severe cold.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of the storm was located at about 21.3 degrees North latitude; 119.3 degrees East longitude, in the northeastern sea of ​​the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 9 (75-88 km/h), gusting to level 11. The storm moved northeast at a speed of 10-15 km/h.

Forecast until 4am on November 13, the storm is in the sea east of Taiwan (China) and gradually weakens, wind force level 8, gust level 10. The storm moves northeast, speed 10-15km/h. The affected area is the sea northeast of the North East Sea. The disaster risk level is level 3.

By 4:00 a.m. on November 14, the storm in the sea northeast of Taiwan (China) gradually weakened into a low pressure area, moving northeast at a speed of 20-25 km/h. Due to the impact of the storm, the sea northeast of the North East Sea had strong winds of level 6-7; the area near the eye of the storm had strong winds of level 8-9, gusts of level 11, waves 3-5m high, the area near the eye of the storm was 5-7m. The sea was very rough. All ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.

Cold air reinforcement

Currently, the cold air is strengthening and weakening to the South. At Bach Long Vy station, there is strong Northeast wind at level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7.

Due to the influence of continuously strengthened cold air combined with high altitude divergence, from November 13-15, in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will be little cloud and sunny days.
