At 4:00 a.m. this morning (November 29), the center of storm No. 15 was located at about 13.5 degrees North latitude; 112.3 degrees East longitude, about 310 km northwest of Song Tu Tay island. The strongest wind near the center of the storm reached level 9-10 (75-102 km/h), gusting to level 13. The storm is moving in a North-Northwest direction at a speed of 5-10 km/h.

Storm forecast (in the next 24 to 72 hours)

It is forecasted that in the next 72-120 hours, the storm will continue to move slowly in the West-Southwest direction at a speed of 3-5 km/h and tend to weaken further.
Impact at sea: The northwest area of the central East Sea has strong winds of level 7-8; near the storm center, strong winds of level 9-10, gusting to level 12-13. Waves are 3-5 m high, 6-8 m near the storm center; very rough seas.
Offshore waters from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa experience strong winds of level 6-7, then increasing to level 8, gusting to level 9-10; waves 4-6 m high, rough seas.
Vessels operating in the affected areas face a high risk of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves. Authorities advise vessel owners to proactively avoid storms and closely monitor forecasts.
