Storm No. 15 weakens into a tropical depression

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the afternoon of December 1, storm No. 15 weakened into a tropical depression.

Accordingly, at 1 p.m., the center of the tropical depression was at about 14.6 degrees North latitude; 111.3 degrees East longitude, in the northwest sea area of ​​the central East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 7 (50-61 km/h), gusting to level 9. The tropical depression barely moved.

At 1:00 a.m. on December 2, the tropical depression was in the northwest sea area of ​​the central East Sea, about 200 km east of the eastern coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province. The tropical depression moved southwest at a speed of about 5 km/h. The strongest wind was level 6, gusting to level 8. The affected area was the northwest sea area of ​​the central East Sea, the sea area off the coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province; disaster risk level 3.

At 1 p.m. on December 2, the tropical depression in the sea of ​​Gia Lai - Dak Lak province moved southwest at a speed of about 10 km/h and weakened into a low pressure area. Wind force below level 6.

Due to the impact of the tropical depression, the northwest sea area of ​​the Central East Sea and the sea off the coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak provinces has strong winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 9; waves 2-4m high, rough seas.

Vessels operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the impact of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
