Storm No. 15 has strengthened to level 12, moving slowly and tending to linger at sea. After this storm, there may be another storm.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of November 27, the center of storm No. 15 was located at about 13 degrees North latitude - 114.5 degrees East longitude, about 190km north of Song Tu Tay Island. The storm has increased its intensity from level 10 to level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting to level 15 and moving in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of about 15km/h.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from the morning of November 27 to the morning of November 28, the storm tended to change direction from West Northwest to West Southwest and gradually slow down to about 5-10km/hour. By the morning of November 28, the center of the storm was located in the western sea of ​​the central East Sea, about 190km northwest of Song Tu Tay Island, maintaining an intensity of level 12, gusting to level 15.

From the morning of November 28 to the morning of November 29, the storm continued to change direction to the West Northwest, then to the Northwest at a speed of about 5km/hour. The center of the storm on the morning of November 29 was over the western sea area of ​​the central East Sea, the intensity decreased to level 11, gusting to level 14.

From the morning of November 29 to the morning of November 30, the storm mainly moved in the Northwest direction at a slow speed of 3-5km/hour in the western sea of ​​the central East Sea, its intensity continued to weaken to level 10, gusting to level 13.

The meteorological agency said that from around November 30 to December 1, the storm will move slowly in a northwest direction, then change direction to the west-northwest at a speed of about 3-5km/hour and continue to weaken.

According to Mr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 15 has the characteristic of moving very slowly, so it will stay at sea for a long time. He commented that in the first days of December, storm No. 15 is still likely not to end.

The Deputy Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also informed that, according to data from the meteorological agency, the 2025 storm season has not ended. In December, there will be at least one storm or tropical depression active in the East Sea after storm No. 15. Because it is the end of the storm season, storms or tropical depressions appearing in these months have a high tendency and probability of making landfall or affecting the South Central and Southern regions.
