On the evening of May 11, information from the Border Guard of Ha Tinh province said that the unit had just successfully coordinated to fight against project HT1122, controlling and arresting a subject while illegally transporting 2 heroin cakes, 2kg of crystal meth and 200 synthetic drug pills (pink pills).
According to initial information, at around 5:40 a.m. on May 10, on National Highway 8A, in Ha Trai village (Son Kim 1 commune, Huong Son mountainous district, Ha Tinh province), the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Cau Treo International Border Guard Station (Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard) coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police to ambush and arrest a subject red-handed while traveling from Cau Treo International Border Gate to the inland.

Searching the scene, the joint forces seized 2 heroin cakes, 2kg of crystal meth, 200 synthetic drug pills (pink pills) and many related exhibits.
The arrested subject confessed his name to be Hoang Van Hoa (48 years old, residing in Dong Mo town, Chi Lang district, Lang Son province), who received the transport of the above drugs from a man in Hanoi city for 20 million VND.
