Wanted suspect arrested after months on the run

On the afternoon of July 19, Chief of Dakrong Commune Police, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Thuong, said that the unit had just successfully captured a wanted fugitive in the area and handed him over to the competent authority for handling.

The wanted subject is Ho Van Quy, born in 2002, residing in Klu village, Dakrong commune, who was prosecuted by Hanoi City Police for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury" in November 2024 after committing a crime in Xuan Phuong ward and then fleeing. After receiving a notice of coordination to arrest from Xuan Phuong ward police, Dakrong commune police force established a team to arrest the wanted subject, assigning specific tasks to each officer and soldier in performing the task.

On the night of July 18, reconnaissance teams were sent to each village to grasp the situation and deploy professional measures. By dawn on July 19, Dakrong Commune Police coordinated with Huong Hiep Commune Police and Xuan Phuong Ward Police (Hanoi City) to arrest Ho Van Quy.
